Movie synopsis:

She makes her return in the 4th installment of the Resident Evil franchise and is powerless. She takes a few of her "friends" to the Umbrella Facility in Tokyo, only to find a few surprises. In this installment, picking up shortly after the third Resident Evil film left off, the Alice clones (Milla Jovovich) attempt to kill Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts), the leading CEO of the evil Umbrella Corporation at his underground base in Japan. All the clones are ambushed killed in an explosion as Wesker escapes in an aircraft. The original Alice ambushes him, but Wesker injects her with a serum that neutralizes the T-virus in her system, eliminating her superhuman powers and making her human again. Before he can kill her, the aircraft crashes and Alice emerges alone from the wreckage.

Many months later, Alice follows a repeating emergency broadcast from a survivors' safe haven known as "Arcadia". After many fruitless months searching for Arcadia and finding no survivors along the way.

Alice begins to lose hope, believing herself to be the last surviving human on the planet. Stopping on an abandoned beach, Alice finds the helicopter that was taken by Claire and the others when they and Alice parted ways in the previous film. A crazed Claire (Ali Larter), under the influence of an Umbrella Corporation device attached to her chest, attacks her. Alice removes the device, finding that it has damaged Claire's memory. Claire slowly regains bits and pieces, remembering that soldiers of the Umbrella Corporation ambushed their group when they landed on the beach, attaching the devices to them, though she managed to escape.

Flying a two-person plane, they enter the ruins of Los Angeles and find a small group of survivors living in a maximum security prison, surrounded by zombies. They land the plane on the roof and learn that Arcadia is actually a cargo tanker traveling along the coast. Since the plane cannot take more than two, Alice and the survivors try to figure out a means to make it to Arcadia together. The survivors have been keeping watch on a prisoner, Chris (Wentworth Miller), whom they found locked in a maximum security cell when they arrived.

Alice and survivors are out of time to find a means to reach Arcadia so they decide to free him and use his escape route. Chris recognizes Claire and reveals himself as her brother, though she does not remember him. Chris' proposed methoda stored military vehicleis legitimate, but the vehicle is not operational and they are left with no other option but to use the zombies' tunnel to escape into the sewers, which empties into the coast. The group fights off many zombies. Alice, Claire, and Chris emerging as the only survivors and escape into the sewers.

They continue to Arcadia, finding the ship completely functional, but abandoned. Exploring its inner depths, they realize that it is a trap set by Umbrella to lure survivors to the ship to conduct experiments on them in order to find a cure or way to control the zombies. They release the survivors, among them K-Mart, and Alice continues deeper, finding escape helicopters and a purging bomb. Deeper inward, she finds Wesker, who explains that he has been infected by the T-virus, mutating him and granting him super human abilities, but finds it difficult to control. By assimilating Alice, the only individual to bond successfully with the T-virus, she will be able to gain full mastery of the T-virus. Chris, Claire, and Alice battle Wesker, but he escapes into a helicopter and activates the purging bomb to blow up and kill everyone aboard the Arcadia ship. However, he finds that Alice hid the bomb aboard the helicopter and it is destroyed. During the purging bomb's explosion, a parachute falling from the sky goes unnoticed by Alice, Claire, and Chris... hinting that Wesker may still be alive.

Alice resolves to turn Arcadia into a real safe haven and broadcasts its message for any other survivors. As Claire, Chris, and Alice decide how to proceed with all the survivors, they see an approaching Umbrella assault fleet preparing to take them out.

CASTAWAY ON THE MOON (KOREAN MOVIE)

A man named KIM jumps into the dark, quiet waters of the Han River. He wakes up and finds himself lying on covered with sand. It is then that he realized that he failed to kill himself and simply drifted to an unknown island in the river. In one of the riverside apartment buildings, there?s a girl who hasn?t ventured out of her room for years. One day, she catches sight of a man living alone on an island through her binoculars and becomes intrigued. Day after day, his lonely but seemingly contented life triggers her curiosity and compels her to step out of her room after so many years.

Mr. Kim has had it with life. A terrible job, miserable relationships, and a crippling mound of debt has pushed him to where he currently stands- on the edge of a bridge overlooking the massive Han river in Seoul. He decides to end it all and jumps off into the void.

Hours later he awakens on a beach, discombobulated but still quite alive. It turns out that not only did he survive his fall but he’s washed up on a little island under a highway overpass, and despite being near the biggest city in South Korea, he’s stranded. The highway above him is too high, with no stairs or handhelds to get up. Boats ride too far away from him to hear his cries and ignore his frantic waves. And to top it off, the poor guy can’t swim. He spends hours and then days trying to escape before coming to the realization that here, he can finally live. He begins foraging and setting up a new life for himself on this strange new world.

Meanwhile, in an apartment across the bay, a strange shut-in (also with the last name of Kim) watches him through a telescope. She’s terrified to go outside and, despite living with them, it’s been years since she’s seen her parents. She spends most of her time updating her blog with lies about her exciting life and sleeping in a bubble-wrap cocoon in her closet. But when she sees him, she can’t look away. She watches his progress, feeling closer to him than anyone else before. One day, she decides to make contact, sneaking out of her apartment at night and throwing him a message in a bottle.

Thus begins one of most bizarre and heartwarming romances in recent film history.

Castaway on the Moon would make a great double feature with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, as they’re both films about incredibly lonely people who refuse to admit what they are, only turning their lives around when they open up a bit and let themselves try to love a little- terrifying though it may be. Fans of magical realism will be in heaven here. It’s not nearly as fantastical as a Jean-Pierre Jeunet film, but it definitely has a similar whimsical style. True to the nature of Korean film it frequently flipflops from laugh-out-loud funny moments to deadly serious ones, but it works in the context of the story here.

The Last Princess (Japanese Movie)

Makabe Rokurota (Hiroshi Abe), a loyal retainer of Princess Yuki-hime (Masami Nagasawa), has been commissioned to transport Yuki-hime and Akizuki's ample treasury of gold bars safely to the politically stable Hayakawa. Takezo and Shimpachi first frown on joining the journey, but eventually agree to help out in the hope of escaping Yamana's oppression and cashing in on the gold reward Rokurota offers them.

The story is about Kaoru, a teenage girl with the rare xeroderma pigmentosum(XP) disease. Since UV light would kill her (or at least accelerate her nervous system’s breakdown) she sleeps in the day and lives at night, writing songs and playing her guitar. In between sunset and sundown she watches a young boy she’s interested in from her hill-top home, wishing she could one day meet him.

Of course, she gets the chance and that’s when things change, for better and for worse. And yes she does sing live and record a CD and all the other cliches you would expect from this sort of movie, especially a Japanese one. But cliched as it is, it is really sweet and done in good form. There were few moments I found really cringe-worthily melodramatic, which is more than can be said for some Japanese movies I’ve seen, and overall I thought the story was portrayed really sensitively and well. It helps that it’s all reasonably slow moving and good natured with decent, if not really outstanding, performances from the cast.

What you really want to know is if Yui can act. IMHO, despite the potentially melodramatic plot, she doesn’t really have to stretch any acting muscles that hard in this and is her usual semi-reserved self (some would call it bland. Not me — I love Yui!). It’s sweet for the right moments and of course she really comes into her own in the singing parts. Look out for the Yokohama street live with Skyline, and you’re guaranteed to have Goodbye Days (the signature track) playing on repeat for days after seeing this.

Is there anyone who kills me? vs I barely killed her!! A professional & quiet killer, Hyun-jun. He arrives at a house where he expects a man to be killed by him, but he only finds a girl to expects him to help her suicide. She shouts at dazed Hyun-jun. "What's the matter? It's your job, so you just kill me" She decides to kill herself after the loss of 7 years love, but she feels unfair that she just commits suicide calmly with overdosing sleeping pills. "You should do it by yourself. I am not a helper for suicide." He gets angry at her, forgetting what he does. Hyun-jun & Jin -young begin to meet like this. While they continue to meet, quiet Hyun -jun gets talkative, and Jin Young only dreaming of death begins to think of tomorrow. What a shame for both! Why do they meet day by day in spite that they always argue in vain?

Avatar development started since 1994 by Cameron, who wrote an 80-page script for the film.It supposed to be released in 1999 after the screening of Titanic, but according to Cameron it will not fit his perception because the "technology is not that advance and needed to catch up" with his vision of the film.In early 2006, Cameron developed the script culture and language of Pandora.
